During the month of March, thousands of Central New Yorkers will be wearing a white ribbon or wristband to raise awareness about domestic and sexual violence. Join these concerned citizens and take part in the 24th Annual Vera House White Ribbon Campaign! Get your ribbons, wristbands or chocolates by calling Vera House Special Events Office at (315) 425-0818 x2248 or order securely online by visiting Vera House's website at www.verahouse.org. The White Ribbon Campaign is led by men and encourages all members of the community - men and women, young and old - to join them in their efforts. This male leadership helps to acknowledge the important contributions men have made to this effort and invites others to take a role. Wearing a white ribbon or wristband is an important statement. It means you will not condone, support or commit domestic or sexual violence. All proceeds raised during the White Ribbon Campaign are directed to Vera House education and awareness programs and services.
