Study Links Migrating Birds With Climate Change

Oswego, NY – Researchers at the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry are releasing a study linking migrating birds with climate change.

Researchers compared data collected in the early 1980's with more recent information, finding many species have extended their range boundaries to the north.

WRVO's Jasmyn belcher spoke with Postdoctoral Research Associate, Benjamin Zuckerberg, who explains his research.

SUNY faces new spending cuts

Oswego, NY – The State University system will see a signficant reduction in spending under Governor Paterson's directive to all state agencies to slash spending. SUNY officials have yet to confirm the numbers, but the labor union representing SUNY faculty says the cuts will be painful.
