Governor Andrew Cuomo traveled to the Adirondacks on Sunday, bringing with him most of his executive cabinet and dozens of downstate reporters. He made the trip to promote a new $50 million land purchase that will add tens of thousands of acres to the park's forest preserve.

They were rewarded for their efforts during a small ceremony at Onondaga Community College (OCC), where the 29 students are currently hitting the books, with a small ceremony.

At one point overnight as many as 2,000 workers at a Foxconn plant in Taiyuan, China, were involved in a riot that drew 5,000 police officers to the site and has closed the facility that makes parts for Apple's iPhones and hardware for other companies including Microsoft and Hewlett-Packard.
