Hanna Hopes Moderate Voice Can Influence Debate In Washington

Buerkle Says Health Care Repeal Could Save Money

Oswego, NY – Ann Marie Buerkle says health care reform is needed, but says the reform law passed last year is ineffective because it raises premiums for some customers.

The non-partisan Congressional Budget Office (CBO) has estimated that repealing the health care reform law would add more than $230-billion to the national deficit.

Buerkle questions that estimate, saying the estimate is only as good as the information used by the CBO to reach it.
