2013: Programming Changes
On January 1, 2013, the WRVO Public Media program schedule will include the following changes:
The Campbell Conversations, WRVO's interview series hosted by Campbell Public Affairs Institute director and Maxwell School of Citizenship professor Grant Reeher, is moving from Saturdays at 4 p.m to Sunday evenings at 6 p.m.
Earth Eats, bringing you the freshest news and recipes inspires by local food and sustainable agriculture, is moving from 4:30 p.m. Saturdays to 6:30 p.m. Sundays.
Snap Judgment, NPR and PRX's remarkable twist on storytelling featuring Glynn Washington, previously heard Sunday evenings, will air at 2 p.m. Saturday afternoons.
Day 6, with Brent Bambury, the extraordinary weekly CBC news program, is moving to Saturdays at 4 p.m.
Selected Shorts, the literary radio show recorded live in New York City, will be heard an hour earlier at 9 p.m. Saturdays.
Tuned to Yesterday, WRVO's signature old time radio series, will be broadcast at the same time each night of the week, including Saturdays and Sundays from 10 p.m. to midnight.
The BBC World Service will begin an hour earlier on weekends, that's at midnight on Saturdays and Sundays.
Inside Europe, the inside take on European affairs, will be broadcast at 5 a.m. Sundays with Fresh Air Weekend, with Terri Gross, at 6 a.m.
TED Radio Hour, a journey through fascinating ideas, astonishing inventions, and new ways to think and create based on riveting TEDTalks from the world's most remarkable minds, will be heard Sundays at 4 p.m. with Guy Raz serving as host.
