The writer of the syndicated "Ask Amy" advice column and panelist on NPR's comedy news quiz, "Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me" talks about how she became a dispenser of advice, what keeps her in her family's hometown in Central New York, and why she's hitting the stage with a variety show for the first time ever on June 3 in Syracuse.
