A change at the altar: Priests out, friends in as officiants at weddings. Part 1

SYRACUSE, NY – There's a trend in weddings, and it has nothing to do with dresses, food or receptions. It's about the wedding itself. More and more weddings are being presided over by someone who is not a priest or a justice of the peace.
