Dining Weeks in Downtown Syracuse Successful

By Ryan Morden

Oswego, NY – Week two of Dining Weeks in Downtown Syracuse is underway.

This winter 19 restaurants are offering three course meals for $25.00.

David Katleski is the president and CEO of the Empire Brewing Company in Armory Square, one participating restaurants.

He said the first week has been good for his restaurant.

"It certainly shows in our numbers because we serve more people during dining week. In fact last week we had a record week and we weren't expecting that," said Katleski.

The goal of dining weeks is to get people from outside Syracuse to come down and see the restaurant scene as well as see the shops and neighborhoods.

Dining Weeks in Downtown Syracuse runs through Saturday.
