Golden Era of Onondaga Lake

By Chris Ulanowski

Syracuse, NY – Onondaga Lake in Syracuse NY is one of the dirtiest waterways in the nation. It wasn't like that more than a century ago. Then, resorts dotted its shorelines. Author Donald Thompson , a retired teacher, has captured the lake's glory days in "The Golden Age of Onondaga Lake Resorts" first published in 2002. He's out with an expanded third printing. He spoke about it with WRVO's Chris Ulanowski.
