Healthy Teens Act

Oswego, NY – The New York State Assembly has approved the so-called "Healthy Teens Act." The measure will provide school districts across the state will funding for age-appropriate sex education. The proposed curriculum will stress abstinence, but will also address issues related to contraception and S-T-D-s. WRVO's Elizabeth Christensen spoke with Joanne Smith, the President of Family Advocates of New York, about the act.
