Homecare Abuse

Oswego, NY – A recentmedicaid fraud probe conducted by the NYS Attorney General's Office resulted in charges leveled agains dozens of patient, aides, nurses and home health agency administrators. The State Association of Healthcare Providers Inc. says one way to weed-out fraud is to establish a centralized registry for certified home-care workers. WRVO's Chris Ulanowski spoke with the association's Executive Vice-President Christy Johnston about the issue.
