Mattydale, NY – 95 Marine reservists from Central New York are now on active duty.
Company B of the 8th Tank Battalion will head to Camp Lejeune, North Carolina tomorrow. They will then head overseas.
They'll be supporting Operation Enduring Freedom.
The reservists were in the midst of a tank drill this weekend when they were notified.
They were also given a preliminary shot of anthrax vaccine while at the base in Mattydale.
