New York State might receive additional federal dollars for medicaid expenses.

Oswego, NY – U-S Senator Charles Schumer says New York might receive an additional $5-billion to cover medicaid expenses under a new federal stimulus package expected in 2009. It would help ease New York's economic crisis as Governor Paterson looks to slash state spending. WRVO's Chris Ulanowski spoke to Heathcare Association of New York State's William Van Slyke about how the federal funds will help New York's healthcare industry.
