Oswego, NY – Tougher new legislation passed by the New York State Senate allows police to pull you over if they suspect you of texting while driving.
As WRVO's Joyce Gramza reports, the strengthened law could have helped police to charge a Baldwinsville school bus driver.

The New York State chapter of AAA, which has lobbied for the bill, says texting makes drivers six times more likely to crash.
