State To Target Human Trafficking

Oswego, NY – State officials are working to target human trafficking cases, by shifting the perception of prostitution and undocumented worker cases.

Law enforcement officers in over a dozen locations statewide, are learning more about the identification, investigation and effective prosecution of such cases through training sponsored by the state.

WRVO's Jasmyn Belcher spoke with Director of Human Trafficking Policy and Prevention at the State Division of Criminal Justice Services, Andra Ackerman.
