President Barack Obama will visit the Syracuse area this week, giving a speech at Henninger High School on the importance of an affordable education. The president's speech is expected to begin at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
Tickets for the event are free and will be made available to the public on a first come, first served basis today starting at noon. They will be distributed at Sunnycrest Ice Rink, located on Robinson Street in Syracuse. Only one ticket will be given per person and tickets cannot be resold.
The doors at Henninger High School will open at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. Those who have tickets will not be allowed to bring bags, banners or signs and cant expect to have to go through airport-like security.
