The Wind of the Wurlitzer @ NYS Fair
By Mark Lavonier
Syracuse, NY – The Empire State Theater and Musical Instrument Museum is celebrating it's 40th year at the New York State Fair. Since it's inception, one of the main attractions of the museum has been it's authentic 1920's Wurlitzer Pipe Organ, which helps make the past come alive when accompanying the silent films featured during the fair. WRVO's Mark Lavonier spoke with museum curator Phil Edwards, and prepared this report.
