Weigh In On Vehicle Height On Lake Parkway

Oswego, NY – The State Department of Transportation wants public comments on whether to ban commercial traffic from the Onondaga Lake Parkway between 81 and Liverpool.

As WRVO's Joyce Gramza reports, the proposal is a response to over-height vehicles crashes into the CSX railroad bridge.

The agency is soliciting public comments and concerns through its Web site or by mail. All comments must be received by July 19th.

Getting Ready for Marriage Equality

Oswego, NY – New York State's new marriage equality law will go into effect on July 24th.

Some New Cancer Treatments Not Covered by Health Insurance

Oswego, NY – State lawmakers are discussing a plan to force insurance companies to cover cancer chemotherapy treatments, no matter whether the chemo is given in a doctor's office or taken as a pill at home.
