As part of our commitment to the listener, WRVO provides a growing series of podcasts on a variety of topics. Sometimes our podcasts bring you archived content no longer heard on-air, special projects, and sound advice from regional experts on many subjects.

Amended and Amended in Action

"Amended," a podcast series produced by Humanities New York and hosted by Laura Free, travels from the 1800s through the present day to highlight the diverse and complex stories behind the quest for women’s suffrage. "Amended in Action,” a collaboration between Humanities New York and WRVO Public Media, was created to compliment the podcast series, “Amended.” Host Michael Riecke introduces listeners to efforts underway in central New York and the Finger Lakes that challenge injustice, illuminate truth, and raise women’s voices.

The Campbell Conversations

Every week Grant Reeher, Director of the Campbell Public Affairs Institute at Syracuse University, leads a conversation with a notable guest. Guests include people from central New York -- writers, politicians, activists, public officials, and business professionals whose work affects the public life of the community -- as well as nationally prominent figures visiting the region to talk about their work.
