Keep it 'Foneless' this February
When you think of the month of February, do thoughts of the Super Bowl, Groundhog Day, the Winter Olympics or Valentine's Day come to mind? Here at WRVO, it's all about Foneless February.
It's been a hit so far, so we're keeping it 'foneless' this February. This month, WRVO Public Media is making a silent request for contributions. No interruptions and no ringing phones. We call it 'Foneless February.' Our spring fundraiser is just around the corner and you can help make it shorter by donating now.
By contributing now you'll help reduce the number of on-air hours during our March fundraiser. For every $2,000 raised this month we'll eliminate an hour of on-air fundraising come March, and you'll be contributing to our challenge pool- an incentive for others to donate.
Please consider donating this month. Make your dollars count and make our spring fundraiser a quick one!
Contributions are being accepted online and by calling 1-800-341-3690 during business hours (Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.). You can also send your check by mail to: WRVO Public Media, 7060 State Route 104, Oswego, NY, 13126.
We also have a special incentive this spring. WRVO has produced a limited run of 'spring' mugs. There are only 140 and we expect them to go fast! Get your own limited edition spring terra cotta 'pot' mug, complete with seed packet, because you helped plant the seed. Whether your a renewing member or a new friend, a $150 donation will get you the mug, seed packet and a warm thank you from our staff. You can use it for your morning coffee or for your favorite plant.
Thank you so much for your support now and in the future.
