Part 2: Dan Maffei Discusses High-Speed Rail and Climate Change

By Jason Smith

Syracuse, NY – We've been hearing this week from Central New York Congressman Dan Maffei, who is back in Syracuse during Congress' August recess. In Part 1, the freshman Democrat spoke about the Federal stimulus bill and the Cash for Clunkers program. In part two of our interview, Maffei talks about the need for high-speed rail in New York, and he discusses his vote on a major climate change bill. Here Maffei describes to WRVO's Jason Smith what the bill is designed to do.
