Syracuse schools finalist comes to town tonight

SYRACUSE, NY – The second of two finalists for the job of Syracuse Schools Superintendent comes to town tonight.

Sharon Contreras will appear at a reception at Corcoran High School at 7:30 p.m.

She's the chief academic officer of the Providence, Rhode Island school system and was an administrator in Rockford, Illinois before that.

The other finalist, Bernard Taylor, Jr., met people at a reception in Syracuse last night.
