Local response to Virginia Tech shooting

Oswego, New York – The Virginia Tech shooting has local college officials responding.

SUNY Oswego President Deborah Stanley today offered prayers and sympathies to the Virginia Tech campus community. She said the shooting is a blow to all colleges and universities across the nation.

She also said Oswego State's Counseling Services Center stands ready to offer support to campus students...faculty and staff.

Syracuse University Chancellor Nancy Cantor also offered condolences.

Local hospital to sue the state over Berger Commission's recommendations
